The U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) recently selected artist Ann Hamilton as the project artist for the Art in Architecture commission for the new United States Courthouse in Des Moines, Iowa. A seven-member advisory panel, composed of GSA employees, a United States District Judge, the project’s design architect, and three members of the public, including art experts, recommended Hamilton to GSA from a pool of well-qualified artist-candidates.
