We would like to congratulate the winners of the 2022 Southern District Of Iowa Bill of Rights contest. First place went to Deirbhile Hennessy, a 7^th grade student from Ames Middle School, who wrote and essay on how the Bill of Rights impacts her life. Honorable Mention went to Fatima Mohommed, a 8^th grade student from Ames Middle School, who created a pencil drawing of the Bill of Rights. Special recognition to their teacher Ms. Dagney Paskach for supporting her students.
